family

it's been a very uneventful, relaxing first week here in seoul.

back when i was in high school, i used to come to korea every summer for about a month. back then, summers in korea meant a lot of kclubbing (deep house! gangnam!! haha), shopping, eating out and just being busy to the point of exhaustion in brutal summer heat.

quite the opposite has happened this past week. perhaps it's because i don't really feel the desire to shop. i mean, i did just spend an entire weekend stressing over how to unpack my closet. plus it's never fun to shop when you have to buy everything in extra large... b/c the average girl wears a size 00. i don't feel the urge to go out either, since everyone is probably 21... while i'm being called 30 in korean age. if you think my self-esteem has gone down, you are probably correct... haha.

so i've been keeping myself busy with family. i was probably the most excited to see my baby cousin for the second time since he was born. it was a bit bittersweet that he is already running around... the baby chubs that i love so much never stays around too long :(

it's never too early to start brainwashing children... mwahahha
