t-3hrs till i leave for the airport.
of course i'm not packed yet. but at least i have all my things laid out, all over the house. i just need to somehow gather them, roll them up, and put it inside the suitcase. now is probably a good time, but it's been really hot and humid so i'm just chillin in front of the a/c.
when i first decided to spend 40days in se asia, i KNEW that it was gonna be hot. but i don't think i actually knew HOW HOT. living in seattle for the past 3.5yrs, i've forgotten what humidity felt like. isn't that strange? i grew up in houston, for goodness sakes. houston is like the capital of humidity in all of america, yet i completely forgot how miserable heat + humidity - lack of air-conditioned car everywhere makes one feel :(
anyways. i'm gonna try and find refuge at lots of coffee shops with a/c and free wireless internet. thank you in advance, starbucks!

safe travels! It was 100 degreed at my parents house last weekend also. I almost died.
